What is decontamination wash?
Decontamination wash is a process by which, using iron fall-out remover and clay bar treatment, we remove contaminants that can't be removed with only regular wash.
If your car paint feels almost like sandpaper when touching it with your hand - that is a sign that your car needs to be decontaminated. After washing - your car paint will feel smooth and squeaky clean.
Better wax durability
After safely removing contaminants from your car paint, we will put a thick coat of wax. It will have a better bond with the surface since it is contaminant free. Your car will be protected from the harsh and unpredictable weather we have here in Johnson City!
Will it fix the scratches?
Unfortunately, no, wax doesn't fix the scratches on your paint, it might fill in the scratches, and it will look better for some time, but it will return to the same look after a while. We recommend looking at our Buff & Shine, One-Step Paint Correction, or Two-Step Paint Correction services to fix the scratches.
