Why Choose Mobile Window Tinting
Mobile window tinting is a practical solution for clients in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, and the surrounding Tri-Cities area who have demanding schedules, multiple vehicles, or private properties where efficiency and discretion matter.
It’s also well-suited for dealerships and fleet partners seeking consistent, professional results performed on-site. Whether you’re caring for high-end vehicles you prefer not to put unnecessary miles on, managing a household or business fleet, or located in a rural setting, our mobile service delivers premium ceramic installations without shortcuts.
We arrive fully equipped and follow controlled installation standards to ensure every vehicle receives the same level of precision, finish, and long-term performance as in our shop.
Ceramic Window Tint Options We Offer
To maintain consistent results and high installation standards, especially in mobile environments, we primarily work with ceramic-based window films. These films are selected for their performance, durability, and refined appearance across a wide range of vehicles.
*We may offer entry-level film options by request, but our mobile service is built around ceramic solutions to ensure durability, comfort, and consistent results.
Mobile Install Standards & Requirements
Because we care deeply about the final outcome of every installation, our mobile window tint service is performed under specific conditions designed to protect quality and consistency. Proper environment plays a major role in achieving clean edges, clarity, and long-term performance.
A garage or covered space is required for mobile installations to keep the vehicle protected from wind, dust, and other environmental elements. Weather conditions are also a factor, and in some cases, appointments may need to be rescheduled to ensure the install meets our standards.
We arrive fully equipped with our own professional-grade power systems, allowing us to work efficiently and quietly — no loud generators, no disruption to your home or business.
These requirements allow us to deliver results that match the level of care and finish our clients expect, whether the work is performed on-site or in our shop.

Scheduling & Service Structure
Our mobile window tinting service is offered by appointment only throughout Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, and the surrounding Tri-Cities area, allowing us the time needed to properly prepare, plan logistics, and deliver consistent results. Availability is intentionally limited to ensure each installation receives the attention, setup time, and quality control it deserves.
We provide priority scheduling for dealership and fleet partners across the Tri-Cities, as well as for multi-vehicle appointments. Mobile service fees may apply based on location and scope of work, and all scheduling details are discussed and confirmed in advance.
This structured approach allows us to maintain high standards while offering a professional, dependable mobile window tinting experience in Northeast Tennessee.
WARRANTY & AFTERCARE
All window tint installations are backed by warranty. When installed within legal limits, our standard, ceramic and nano-ceramic films include a manufacturer-backed lifetime warranty covering defects such as bubbling, peeling, or fading.
In cases where a customer requests film outside standard manufacturer specifications, warranty coverage is handled directly by our shop. Warranty terms are reviewed and explained prior to installation to ensure clarity and proper expectations.
Aftercare guidance is provided at the time of service, and our team remains available for any questions or concerns following your installation. Should anything appear outside normal curing behavior, we encourage clients to contact us directly so we can inspect and address it promptly.
Benefits of Llumar Window Tint

UV Protection
LLumar window tint blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays. This protects your skin from potential damage, reducing the risk of skin cancer and other health issues. It also helps prevent your car's interior, including upholstery, dashboard, and trim, from fading and cracking.

Heat Rejection
LLumar tint significantly reduces heat buildup inside your vehicle, keeping it cooler and more comfortable. This can be particularly beneficial during hot summer days, making your drive more pleasant and reducing the need for air conditioning.

Glare Reduction
By minimizing glare from the sun and headlights, LLumar window tint improves visibility and reduces eye strain. This enhances driving safety, especially during sunrise, sunset, and nighttime driving conditions.

Enhanced Privacy
LLumar window tint provides increased privacy by making it harder for outsiders to see into your vehicle. This can help protect your belongings from potential thieves and give you peace of mind.

Energy Efficiency
By reducing the need for air conditioning, LLumar tint can help improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency. Less reliance on the AC means less strain on your car's engine, which can contribute to better gas mileage.

Shatter Resistance
LLumar tint adds a layer of protection to your windows, making them more resistant to shattering. In the event of an accident or an attempted break-in, the tint helps hold broken glass together, reducing the risk of injury from flying glass shards.

Health Benefits
By reducing exposure to harmful UV rays, LLumar tint helps lower the risk of skin cancer and other health issues. It also creates a more comfortable driving environment, reducing the potential for heat-related discomfort and fatigue.

Lifetime Warranty
LLumar window tint is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring long-lasting performance and peace of mind. The warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship, giving you confidence in your purchase.
Important information:
Clear any personal items, especially from the dashboard, seats, and back window area. This makes it easier for our technicians to access and work on your windows. Removal of old film is not included in the pricing. No window tint job is completely flawless due to the nature of the process and materials. Minor imperfections like micro-dust or small bubbles can occur but usually settle as the film cures. Professional installers ensure the results are as clean and precise as possible, delivering excellent performance and appearance.

Window tinting FAQ
How long does it take to tint my car?
The time it takes to tint your vehicle’s windows can vary based on several factors. Do we need to remove old window tint first? How many windows are you having tinted, and are they large or complex? For a full car window tint, we typically require a full day to ensure precision and quality. If you’re only tinting the front two windows, the process usually takes just a few hours.
Are the windows tinted on the interior or exterior of the car?
You might have seen window tint on the outside in photos, but that’s only for preparation, such as cutting or shrinking the film. The final installation always happens on the interior for a smooth, lasting finish. If you’re looking for expert window tinting near you, we’re here to help. Trust us for quality results every time!
What are the tint laws in Tennessee?
In Tennessee, window tint laws specify how dark and reflective your tint can be. For the windshield, tint is allowed above the manufacturer’s AS-1 line, or 70% VLT for the full windshield. Front and back side windows, as well as the rear window, must let more than 35% of light through (35% VLT).
Can you tint my windshield?
Of course, we can! Tinting your windshield is a smart choice since it’s the largest piece of glass in your car and plays a key role in your driving experience. A quality tint helps block harmful UV rays, keeping your car cooler, protecting your skin, and preventing your interior from fading or cracking. It also reduces glare from sunlight and headlights, making driving safer and more comfortable. Plus, it can improve energy efficiency by reducing the strain on your air conditioning. Just make sure the tint complies with local laws for a safe and legal upgrade.
When can I roll my windows down?
After tinting, you'll want to wait about 2-4 days before rolling your windows down. This gives the film time to properly cure and bond. Rolling them down too soon could cause the edges to peel or warp. The exact time can vary depending on the weather, but we recommend following this general guideline for the best results.
Do you have to remove the old film?
Yes, removing old tint film is usually necessary before applying new tint. Over time, the film can start to bubble, fade, or peel, which not only affects the look but also the effectiveness of the new tint. Removing the old film ensures that the new tint will adhere properly and give you a clean, smooth finish. Additionally, leaving old film on can lead to imperfections or uneven tinting, so it’s best to start with a clean surface for optimal results.
Can I tint my windows if it has cracks?
It's not recommended to tint windows that have cracks. Applying tint can cause heat buildup, especially with darker films, which may stress the glass and cause existing cracks to spread. Additionally, the adhesive in the tint film can put pressure on the cracked areas, making them more prone to expanding. To avoid these issues, it’s best to repair any cracks first before tinting your windows, ensuring the tint will adhere properly and not cause further damage to the glass.
